Vineyard

Terroir refers to the unique combination of soil, climate, topography, and other environmental factors that influence the character and flavor profile of grapes grown in a particular vineyard. At Gilchrist Farm Winery, our vineyard showcases a diverse terroir that contributes to the distinctive qualities of our wines. In summer 2026, we are excited to offer a series of vineyard tours that provide an inside look at how terroir shapes our grape-growing practices and ultimately, our wines. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the vineyard, learn about the importance of terroir, and witness firsthand the care that goes into nurturing our vines. These tours are ideal for both wine enthusiasts and those interested in sustainable agriculture, offering an educational and immersive experience.
