Summer in Review
Summer in Suttons Bay has a rhythm all its own — long afternoons, glasses of wine on the patio, music drifting through the room, and tables filled with friends old and new. Over the past few months, Gilchrist Farm Winery has welcomed guests for live music, seasonal food, special gatherings, and plenty of afternoons spent enjoying wine in the heart of Suttons Bay.
Music, Wine & Summer Afternoons
Live music became part of the soundtrack of the season, with performances from artists including I-Taweh, Miriam Pico, Christy Savage Trio, Elizabeth Landry, Rob Coonrod, Billy and the Kid, Luke Woltanski, and other local musicians who joined us throughout the summer. Some afternoons were lively, others wonderfully relaxed — but each brought people together over wine, food, and music.
From the Kitchen
Summer also brought an ever-changing menu inspired by what was fresh and in season. From colorful salads and shared plates to smoked brisket and other dishes from the kitchen, the menu continued to evolve throughout the season — giving guests something new to discover with each visit.
Around the Table
Some of our favorite moments were also the simplest: a table filled with friends, a bottle being opened, sunlight streaming through the windows, or guests lingering a little longer than they planned. Those moments are at the heart of Gilchrist Farm Winery — creating a place where wine, food, and good company come together naturally.
From Summer Into Harvest
As summer gives way to fall, the vineyard is entering one of its most exciting seasons. Harvest is underway, the menu continues to change, and a new season of events is beginning in Suttons Bay.
Thank you to everyone who joined us this summer — whether for a concert, a meal, a tasting, or an afternoon spent with friends. We loved having you here. And there is plenty more ahead.
